Jett is two months old already! Time flies. We went for his two month checkup yesterday and Dr. Wolens says he looks great. He weighs 11lb 15oz which puts him in the 58th percentile. He seems so big it's hard to believe that 42% of babies still weigh more than that at 2 months. His head size has gone up a lot. It was in the 35th percentile at birth and now it in the 76th percentile. He's in the 91st percentile for his height though...long and lean, just like Daddy. He's got my long torso for sure, and we're hoping he'll get Roman's long legs to balance him out. Roman's 6 feet and his dad was 6'3, so I imagine Jett will be tall too.
We are still working on treating the trush. We stopped the purple medication you saw in the previous post too soon apparently, so it came back, but not as bad. So we're back to the purple lips for a while. The doctor prescribed another medication, but said that the Gentian Violet, which is really more of an herbal type medication, is the most effective at treating it. And besides, the prescription has to be used 4 times a day, the Gentian Violet we only have to do once. Having enough time is a problem for me right now, so once a day is much easier for me, even if it is messy.
Lila and Mrs. Diane
The kids in her Thursday class (Sarah, Addison, Lila, and Luke). Mrs. Diane said that Lila is the one who gives Luke a run for his money. Luke is the youngest of Mrs. Diane's three boys so he's rough and tough, and Lila's the only one who will really stand up to Luke. They have a love-hate relationship. One second they're fighting over a toy and the next they're hugging. Today Mrs. Diane told me they were hugging and kissing all day. Don't tell Roman!
My long-torsoed baby, in his stripes from Marta
I thought this was cute, her skirt and Daddy's hat
